But he might have to die one more time if he doesn't get things right. The story behind Kunle Afolayan's Anikulapo has been expanded into a series as the director says that the first movie did not capture the whole idea he had in mind. Anikulapo was release in 2022 and gained a lot of traction. Production of the seires is completed and coming to Netflix in March 2024. In the upcoming series, Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre, Kunle Afolayan brings the Anikulapo story into full perspective as the first Anikulapo did not capture the entire narrative. In the Rise of The Spectre, the movie goes back in time and the future in Saro's story.
