The Italo Festival (or Igala National Day) is one of the most prominent cultural festivals for the Igala people. Held annually on the last Saturday of the year in Anyigba, it unites the Igala diaspora worldwide to celebrate their heritage, resolve disputes, and discuss socio-economic development under the Attah Igala. The Italo Festival is celebrated as a massive, single-day grand assembly that blends ancient royal traditions with modern socio-political development.
