The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) and Tech giant Microsoft have agreed on an Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills development initiative to enhance training at the cooperation.
The FRCN announced this on 3 December with the details on its website.
According to the announcement, the Director-General of FRCN, Dr Mohammed Bulama visited the Country Manager of Microsoft West Africa, Ola Williams, at her office in Ikoyi, Lagos with a management team. During the visit, a partnership that will provide FRCN’s National Broadcast Academy with Microsoft’s curriculum was discussed.
Mrs Williams in expressing the willingness of Microsoft to come on board as a partner, promised to assign a technical team to the FRCN. The team would the corporation address its needs while providing advanced ICT solutions for the enhancement of its operations.
The FRCN have projects that involve AI training and this partnership will enable it to enhance its techniques on AI training. More so, the partnership will improve its impact on the broadcasting industry by boosting its technological capacity.
