JAMB RESIT RESULTS SCORES LOW AND UNACCEPTABLE
9 months ago
The registrar Oloyede, said that the board is still in control and that there is nothing wrong with the pattern of the results released.

The 2025 JAMB resit scores
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has yet to release the results of the rescheduled 2025 exam. Registrar Is-Haq Olanrewaju Oloyede, at a meeting with external examiners today, revealed that they are still deciding what to do so that they do not take a misstep.
The results of the 2025 University Matriculation Exam, UTME, organised by JAMB in March, were faulted by many. Oloyede blames the outcome of the original JAMB 2025 on human error.
Candidates had complained of technical issues, not being able to log in, time and answer fields resetting, questions not showing up and several glitches. Over 50% of each of the different exam halls throughout the country experienced issues. The pattern led experts to investigate.
Oloyede cleared the claims that the errors were targeted. He said there was nothing ethnic about the errors and takes full responsibility for the mistakes of his staff.
Candidates were given a chance to resit the 2025 JAMB.
Is-Haq Oloyede said they are still working on the results of the resit. More so, the results of the rescheduled exam are not outside the 11%-34% best performance range, similar to the last couple of years.
Oloyede said that the JAMB resit results score is “unacceptable.”
Is-Haq Oloyede further dismissed the claims that candidates need to hit 200 or more can get a spot in a higher institution.
With 95% attendance of the rescheduled exam, the registrar said that the expected best performance of the yet-to-be-released result is still below the 30% acceptable rate. There was still a lot of bad performance.
The board has also said that it is currently preparing for a mop-up for people who missed both the main and resit exams.
