Description:

Girls engage in street business with a bloody criminal, Scar who refuses to give them passage to freedom. Adding to that they also have major family ties in the way, as well as, corruption preventing them from getting away. A deal with Scar, the King of Shanty Town a drug dealer's den almost never ends well. Everyone who is involved with him has become scared for their lives after several others disappear in the name of freedom. This was the fate of one woman Jackie. The residents will have to team up against Scar or lose their lives before they can leave Shanty Town. Shanty Town is a limited six-part crime thriller Nigerian series.

Scar is a loyal, yet fearsome and vile apostle of a drug Kingpin Chief Fernandez.
A band of drug dealers rule and haunt the Shanty Town like a ghost. The people fear for their safety and those of their loved ones as they almost can’t avoid the criminals. There is always a victim.

Women have disappeared mysteriously and more are still held in custody of the ring leader Scar.

When they reach the height of the fear, the Shanty Town women will revolt against Scar together.

Chief Fernandez is a powerful political personality engaged in dirty business in Shanty Town.
For him and his dirty circle of politicians to excel, Chief Fernandez has one loyal servant he can work with in Shanty Town, Scar.

Before Scar, he was the greater evil that plagued Shanty Town. He took advantage of women and covered up his deeds by any means. He is powerful and unreachable.

There might be only one way to get to him, taking down Scar.

Inem

Getting out of prison did not exactly turn out the way Inem expected. Now she has to look her fear in the eyes and defeat him with the most unusual weapon.
Before getting out, Inem was worried about her survival and that of her daughters in Shanty Town.

Her job at the club led her to Chief Fernandez and Inem gets ideas about how to regain freedom. It is later revealed that Inem is a different person from who they thought she was.

Inem further engages in a risky task to find answers about all the missing women of Shanty Town.
