Telecom Workers’ Union Opposes the NLC’s Stand on the 50% Tariff Increase
The NLC has received a letter of appeal from the Telcom workers’ union to discontinue their protest against the 50% Tariff Increase.

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) is being requested by the Private Telecommunications and Communications Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PTECSSAN) to reevaluate its opposition to the proposed 50% tariff increase.
A letter signed by the general secretary of the PTECSSAN, Okonu Abdullahi and sent to the NLC requests them to reconsider their stand down on the planned protests of February 4th.
The NLC has been rallying up a protest since the Nigerian Telecommunications Commission, NCC agreed to a tariff hike of 50% for telecoms.
