The World Public Relations Forum is expected to bring together public relations professionals, policymakers, business leaders and other stakeholders from Nigeria and around the world to examine the changing role of public relations and strategic communication.

A major focus of the discussions will be the impact of artificial intelligence on the public relations industry and the need for the profession to adapt to rapid technological changes.

Organisers and participants said the global gathering provides an opportunity for practitioners to discuss emerging challenges and develop approaches that can guide the profession over the coming decade.

Participants also highlighted the need for responsible communication, particularly among young people navigating the rapidly changing social media environment.

The roadshow is part of broader efforts to ensure Nigerians understand the significance of the forum and the opportunities presented by hosting an international gathering of public relations professionals in Abuja.
